Gaining Access

User Account Setup: The first step to gaining access to the Keck Microfabrication Facility is to create a user account here.

Facilities Access: Requires on-line and on-site training (here). The online training module covers essential topics including the proper use of cleanroom facilities, log-in and equipment reservation procedures, billing and usage policies, and site-specific safety. The on-site training will demonstrate log-in, site-specific safety, and gowning procedures. After completion of these training modules, key card access will be granted and equipment-specific training can be scheduled.

Equipment Access: Requires on-site training (here) conducted by cleanroom staff. Training is required for access to any peice of equipment (including clean benches) in the Facility unless otherwise indicated by cleanroom staff. Contact kecklab@iastate.edu to schedule equipment training. After training is completed, access to equipment booking and usage will be granted.
